Guest speaker was Allison Ward Martin. We had an excellent presentation by Allison Ward Martin about improving our drawing skills by keeping a personal sketchbook. Allison also juried the current GAL exhibition. “While watching my grandmothers make matching dresses for me and my sister, I became intrigued by how they took simple fabric and created something beautiful. I have always loved to take simple materials and create beautiful things. My family and I share these items with you through Ward and Company, a family of makers.” Allison Ward Martin https://www.wardandcompany.net/ Classes at the Quinlan – “Enjoy an opportunity to improve your drawing skills by keeping a personal sketchbook. We will have fun drawing, learning new techniques and sharing with other creatives. Each class will start with a demonstration of a technique and give you an opportunity to try it in your own sketchbook.” https://www.wardandcompany.net/classes-quinlan
